12th Marilena-Nafplio Artiva Choral Festival: November 5-8, 2026

For the 12th consecutive year, Nafplio welcomes one of the town's most significant cultural events: the "Marilena - Nafplio Artiva" International Choral Festival, from November 5 to 8, 2026, at the historic Vouleftiko hall.

An Institution Built on History and Emotion

The festival is named in honour of Marilena Kotti, a talented choir singer who passed away young — every year the festival honours her love and passion for music. The artistic director is conductor Theodosis Antoniadis, who has guided the event since its founding. The festival is organised by Artiva Festival, with support and venue provision from the Municipality of Nafplio.

In previous editions, the festival has hosted up to 40 choral ensembles from Greece and abroad, turning Nafplio into a meeting point for choristers, conductors, and lovers of vocal music from around the world.

The festival is traditionally split into two parts: a competitive segment (usually midday) and a free artistic programme (evening concerts), with free admission to the public for the evening programme each day. The repertoire combines works by Greek composers like Hadjidakis and Theodorakis, traditional songs, and international choral compositions.
