Nafplio: The lighting of the Christmas tree in Syntagma Square 2023

Christmas has arrived! The glorious celebration of the birth of the Lord reigns throughout the length and breadth of the world and spreads divine light in the hearts of men.

The lighting of the Christmas tree of the Municipality of Nafplion is scheduled for Sunday, December 10, 2023, at 7:00 p.m. in Syntagma Square.

Nafplion is "flooded with glitter and light"... from 18:00 to welcome this blessed holiday with the sounds of songs that sing joyfully, causing indulgence and emotion and strengthening the spirit of Christmas, the spirit of Love!

We turn on the tree lights!...a symbol of the continuation of life with hope, optimism and peace in our hearts and in our city.

The event is attended by:

+ The Philharmonic of D.O.P.P.A.T. Nafplio, under the instruction - direction of conductor - chief musician Theodosis Antoniadis.

+ The Art High School of Argolis with students from the directions of theatre-cinema, dance and visual arts.

+ The New School with its choir and orchestra will present Christmas carols.

+ The Sports and Cultural Association of Nafplion DANCE with a competition section of sports team dance CHEERLING for elementary/primary age choreographed Christmas pom!

+ The children of KDAP URANIO TOXO performing Christmas songs in Greek sign language.

+ The Argolida Music School with the Traditional Music Ensemble will present traditional Christmas and New Year's carols from various regions of Greece.

Wearing our warmest smile, we are all involved in a ¨conspiracy of Love¨... because... Christmas is Love in action! Every time we love, every time we give it's Christmas!!!
