Plaka Drepanou Beach: Argolida's Most Famous Coastline

How to get there
Follow the road from Nafplio toward Epidaurus, turn at the Tolo-Drepano junction, and head toward Drepano. Once you reach the village's main square, turn right and then, after about a hundred meters, left toward the beach — the beach itself is just 700 meters from the village. What you'll find there
At about 3 kilometers long, Plaka is one of the largest beaches in the area — large enough to fit both lively, busier sections and quieter, more secluded corners if you prefer to find your own space. The seabed is mostly sandy, but in places there are wide flat stone slabs beneath the water — which is where the beach gets its name ("Plaka" means "slab" in Greek).
It has plenty of organized beach bars, sunbed and umbrella rentals, and tavernas both on the beach and in the village. Free parking runs along almost its entire length.
