In recent years, the inhabitants of Pulakida have invested in the trade of agricultural products through popular markets.

The church of Agia Paraskevi offers the visitor a unique panoramic view of the Argolic Plain that he will have to see during his visit.

In 1956, over Pulakida, there was an airborne squadron with the fall of two fighter jets with the debris falling into the village without injuries. This fact was considered to be a miracle for the inhabitants and in memory of each anniversary there is performed a picture and operation.

The visitor can enjoy the church of Agios Nikolaos where it has been preserved as a listed monument.

On the 25th of July they celebrate Agia Paraskevi with a traditional feast with live music.

In Pulakida during the period of Halloween, local customs are revived with a place and feast in the central square of the village.

Pulakida belongs to the municipal unit of Midea of ​​the Municipality of Nafplio and appears under the name Pulakida and according to the 2001 census it has 750 inhabitants.
