Topologically built amphitheatrically at a height of 70 meters, offering panoramic views of the Argolic plain.

The inhabitants are mainly engaged in agriculture and livestock farming.

Substantially Dendra are in the same area as Manesi and are separated from the archaeological site of the Mycenaean Cemetery discovered in 1926 by Alex Person.

The archaeological excavations brought to light a vaulted tomb and sixteen chamber tombs where they probably belong to the Acropolis of Ancient Midea located very close to the area.

Reliable discovery of the area among others is the oldest intact Armor of Dendras.

All the finds are exhibited at the Archaeological Museum of Nafplion.

At Dedra you can also visit the church of Agioi Theodoroi, the church of Agios Thomas and the central church of the village of Evangelistria.

Dendra belongs to the municipal unit of Midea of ​​the Municipality of Nafplion and it appears under the name Dendra and according to the 2001 census it has 200 inhabitants.
